HOT SHOTS: Old-school F1.

Oscar de Vries dreamed of being a Formula One racer and showed some skills, but when he realised he would not make it to a grand prix grid he switched his focus to business and eventually became the Australia publisher of F1 Racing magazine.
Now, with his OSCAR Shave business doing well, he has returned to F1 with an old-school print publication called Grand Epreuve. The first edition is more like a coffee table book than a monthly magazine, with brilliant pictures and all the detail from the 2024 season. It's available at good newsagents or through the Grand Epreuve website, with the second edition set for publication in June.
