TESTING IS DONE

George Russell edged Max Verstappen for the final bragging rights in pre-season testing in Bahrain.
But . . .
Russell's benchmark time on the final day of testing was not as quick as Carlos Sainz managed for Williams the previous day, as warmer weather took the edge off cars' one-lap pace.
As usual, testing has ended with more questions than answers with just a fortnight until the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park opens the 2025 season.

Max Verstappen was second-quickest for Red Bull on the third day of testing, but only after some niggling problems with his car.
"I think we had a decent day today, there were a few little problems but overall, we completed quite a bit of what we wanted to do. I think it wasn’t bad but at the same time there is still a bit of work to do," said Verstappen.
For the Australians, Oscar Piastri got the final laps for McLaren and was fourth on the time sheets, with Jack Doohan 12th for Alpine.
